The Sales Associate, alone, and in conjunction with volunteers on duty, provides efficient and courteous customer service to all patrons of the shop.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wait on customers and operate cash register.
• Assist in maintaining shop in an orderly fashion. Weekly processing of delivery and return of magazines and books.
• Replenish inventory of candy, snacks, balloons and beverages as needed.
• Other duties as necessary or instructed.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Standing/walking for up to eight hours per day.  Occasional bending, stooping and squatting.  Hearing as it relates to normal conversation.  Seeing as it relates to general vision.

EDUCATION

High school graduate or equivalent.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Sales experience required.  Cash register operation experience preferred.

Schedule: 18 hours per week

Every Monday and Friday 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Every Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
