Cross-National Equivalent File is hiring for an full-time temporary employee to join our project in our effort to codify COVID-19 mitigation policies that were issued during COVID-19 pandemic on federal, state and sub-state levels. This role includes a share of independent work and light supervisory duties, making a great fit for a candidate with strong analytical backgrounds and interest in public policies and their consequences. We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to support our ongoing project codifying COVID-19-related policies across all jurisdictions withing the United States. This role includes both independent research work and light supervisory duties, making it a great fit for candidates with strong analytical backgrounds and an interest in public policy or economics. A qualified candidate will be an active collaborator with the existing team, consulting them when appropriate, as well as a strong independent performer.
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experienced Required:
1 year of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a STEM field, Economics or a similar degree with fundamental understanding of core math and economics principles.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
3. Basic familiarity with Stata/SAS/SPSS/R or principles of programming
