Essential Functions:
-Adheres to all CW and Urgent Care policies, procedures, and standards. Ensures confidentiality to our customers by creating and maintaining a secure and trusting environment; maintains HIPAA compliance. Provides exceptional care to patients and families to fulfill our patient experience promise.
- Regularly performs CNA duties within the scope of professional practice and maintains own urgent care competencies as determined by position scope of practice.
- Completes accurate registration as outlined by the Patient Access Complete Registration policy including MyChart activation. Manages assigned work queues to ensure accuracy and completion per department guidelines. Utilizes scheduling applications to facilitate appointment scheduling and cancellations.
- Maintains a clean and organized environment through stocking supplies and disinfecting furniture and medical supplies as needed.
- Attends staff meetings and in-services and keeps abreast of communication that affects patient care and clinic operations.
- Will require travel to any Urgent Care location.
- During periods of high volume, additional shifts may be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
- Currently registered with the State of Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides to be eligible for employment in the basic provider settings plus federally certified home health agencies and hospices.
Licenses and Certifications:
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
