Position Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group coaching for approximately 15 hours per week to students pursuing careers in creative and business industries. Coaching will focus on, but is not limited to, third- and fourth-year undergraduate students, graduate students, international students, and alumni.
Collaborate with the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) to stay informed about current employment laws and regulations affecting international students. Identify and introduce employers to LMU who are interested in hiring international students and alumni for internships, micro-internships, and full-time opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers across creative and business sectors. Engage employers and alumni to create experiential learning and career development opportunities for students.
Partner with the Assistant Director of Entertainment Professions to support strategic initiatives with the College of Communication and Fine Arts as well as the School of Film and Television, including student coaching, faculty collaboration, and industry engagement.
Collaborate with the College of Business Administration’s Graduate Programs team to provide career coaching for graduate students and to consult on professional opportunities across all graduate-level programs, including the MBA.
Design and deliver a “how-to” workshop series—virtually or in person—and develop website content to support students and alumni in enhancing workplace preparedness and career readiness.

Requisite Qualifications:
Typically a bachelor's degree, a master's degree is preferred.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal).
A strategic, collaborative and innovative problem-solver with coaching skills and experience supporting professionals at various academic and professional stages.
Strong industry knowledge of how employers recruit, hire, and evaluate candidates.
