Job Description:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree (will consider Spring 2026 graduation if able to start remotely)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated passion for baseball and a knowledge of the industry landscape
Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL and/or other programs used for data analysis and visualization (advanced proficiency is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and a growth mindset
Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Familiarity with the rules and current trends in player evaluation and acquisition
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide departmental support for key transactional decisions and dates, including (but not limited to) the trade deadline, waiver claims, free agent signings, and the Rule 5 draft
Produce detailed player evaluations for a variety of professional players
Foster communication with other department to ensure consistent interdepartmental collaboration and synergies
Monitor the professional player universe to assist in formulation and maintenance of target lists
Help oversee the accuracy of the data sources and databases used within the Player Personnel department; assist with data mapping to ensure quality control
Complete ad hoc research studies and retrospective analyses
Assist with the development and maintenance of decision-making tools, outputs, and presentations
Serve as point of contact for certain administrative and logistical departmental needs

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
