This position is located at the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering, The Ohio State University CFAES Wooster Campus.
Assists in research on investigating performances of nozzles, sprayers and pest control agent delivery systems. Analyzes samples collected from field and laboratory experiments. Operates simple test instruments and controls during tests, makes simple adjustments, and records data. Uses standard tables and substitutes formulas as required. Plots data or results. Maintains work area in a proper and safe manner, and cleans and organizes related instruments and supplies.
Knowledge Required for the Position General knowledge of operating a personal computer using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or other software programs. Ability to keep exact and detailed records of data obtained from experiments. Ability to detect subtle variations in test results and in instrumentation.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
