Hospice is a compassionate approach to end-of-life care. The goal of hospice is to help people with serious illness live life fully, maintain their dignity and keep personal control over their lives by providing support services for hospice patients and their families. Intermountain Home Health and Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteer members of Box Elder communities to provide support to hospice patients and their families.
Although this position falls under Logan Home Health and Hospice, volunteers will specifically serve the Box Elder County Area.
Services include companionship, respite/visit care, light housekeeping, listening, reading, and sharing hobbies. Other volunteer service opportunities include bereavement support for patient families. Hospice is available to anyone with an illness whose life expectancy is measured in months rather than years.
When more time cannot be given, we can help to make the most of the time one has left.
