Job Description Summary:

Has accountability for shipping, receiving, storage, yard, or quality
functions of assigned shift and assures timely and accurate processing
of all cargo or equipment as well as planning staffing requirements
based on weekly production schedules.

Job description:

• Oversees and directs shift and/or yard operations to achieve the highest level of safety, productivity, and customer service with a constant focus on cost and efficient use of labor.

• Determines work procedures and prepares work schedules, analyses production errors and recommends/implements corrective action for assigned shifts.

• Ensures that reports, billing and labor payrolls are timely and

• accurate.

• Has responsibility for safe and efficient use of facility equipment.

• Communicates with Assistant Managers and/or Operations Manager regarding daily operational issues and events.

• Reports directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager.

• Meets customer and Company key performance metrics, goals and objectives.

• Fosters a team environment within the facility and demonstrates strong leadership skills.

• Manages, evaluates and mentors warehouse colleagues.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
