Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing the administrative, financial, and clinical information systems that support Tellica Imaging operations. The incumbent will solve complex problems, optimize system alignment with clinical and operational workflows, and identify opportunities to enhance Tellica Imaging’s overall information systems environment.

In this role, the incumbent will develop and maintain operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and end‑user documentation to support caregivers, providers, and patients. This position plays a critical role in system implementation, training development, and driving adoption of information systems across the organization.

The incumbent will configure and maintain Tellica Imaging’s information systems to support the delivery of safe, high‑quality patient care. This includes designing and implementing solutions that advance strategic, clinical, and operational goals while adhering to industry best practices.

Job Essentials

  • Work with end users to solve complex problems, troubleshoot incidents, and answer system‑related questions.

  • Analyze issues to identify recurring problems that require root‑cause resolution.

  • Identify enhancements to existing information systems to improve alignment with clinical and operational workflows.

  • Ensure applications are functioning effectively to support documentation and the delivery of excellent patient care at Tellica Imaging.

  • Develop standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and other documentation to support caregiver, provider, and patient use of information systems.

  • Observe and understand clinical, operational, provider, and patient workflows to help design systems that facilitate documentation and clinical decision‑making.

  • Design and configure changes to Tellica Imaging applications to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.

  • Proactively and creatively design enhancements to applications while adhering to healthcare compliance, cybersecurity regulations, and industry standards.

  • Perform end‑user acceptance testing and partner with technical resources to conduct quality assurance for Tellica Imaging information systems.

  • Approach system design and problem‑solving from an end‑user perspective, specializing in user‑interface design, workflow optimization, and implementation challenges.

  • Demonstrate strong design sensibilities, including attention to detail, system flow, and application usability.

  • Design, develop, document, and configure information systems in compliance with programming and configuration best practices.

  • Develop realistic digital prototypes to inform and guide design decisions.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by iterating on existing solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Work independently with the ability to make sound decisions that achieve business objectives while adhering to industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, clinical, or healthcare‑related field (clinical or business) from an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Four years of equivalent experience in information systems, clinical operations, or clinical information systems.

One year of experience providing analysis, design, configuration, implementation (technical and functional), and support of business, financial, or clinical information systems.

Three years of experience as an expert user of targeted systems such as PACS, iCentra, Royal Solutions, Epic, or similar platforms.

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in English within a technical or healthcare environment.

  • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting clinical information systems in a healthcare setting, preferably imaging, to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.

  • Experience designing workflows and solutions that support strategic, clinical, and operational goals while adhering to industry best practices.

  • General experience with quality assurance and end‑user acceptance testing.

  • Understanding of programming concepts and UI/UX fundamentals.

  • Consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience when interacting with peers, end users, and stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Self‑motivated and ability to work independently.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITIL or other industry‑standard IT frameworks.
  • Experience with UI/UX design and/or development.
  • Clinical background or experience in radiology or imaging services.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$35.64 - $56.12
