Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a dynamic Strategic Account Executive to join our Defense and Intelligence (D&I) team. We are looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force in managing client relationships and business in multiple markets including Space, Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and all DoD services.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons’ presence in key organizations
Provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, and identify opportunities that position Parsons to expand its presence and achieve overall business plan growth goals.
Engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and within the customer space where possible.
Support, where possible, activities tied to programs Parsons has including with USA, OSD R&E, organizations within the INDOPACOM AOR, special operations
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
20+ years diversified experience in managing and leading team and strategies tied to DoD/DoW mission imperatives.
Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the competitive landscape and acquisition processes for the following:
Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO)
US Army (USA)
Cyber Command (CYBERCOM)
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)
Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
Office of the Secretary of Defense/War Research and Evaluation (OSD R&E)
Demonstrated ability to build and execute customer contact plans to position Parson’s capabilities at the most senior levels of the government as well as influence requirements and acquisition strategies.
Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align Parson’s capabilities, experience, investments, and resources
Capable of developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results.
Understanding of current market trends and differentiated solutions in this space.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%.
TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
Domain knowledge in one or more of the following domains: electronic warfare, hardware platform integration, offensive and defensive cyber, special operations.
Persistent problem solver with a tenacious drive to Win.
Acquisition or mission experience within the DoD/DoW
Demonstrates ability to influence, inspire trust and establish & sustain credibility.
Able to develop budgets and manage pursuit and bid dollars effectively.
Understanding of competitors’ capabilities and ability to devises plans to position the company to be successful in pursuits aligned with our capabilities.
Ability to act as a Parsons ambassador to support participation in applicable conferences, exhibits and industry engagements to promote Parsons’ capabilities.
