$19.45 - $29.20Job Summary: Serves as the primary coordinator of all cardiovascular inventory for all Georgia Heart Center procedural areas. Is the technical expert for WAVEMARK automated RFID inventory system. Works to assure appropriate levels of supplies at all times. Checks supply levels on a daily basis and generates request for supplies. Checks in and tags all supplies delivered on a daily basis. Reconciles any supply chain variances. Demonstrates sufficient knowledge of supplies to allow for appropriate decision making with regards to PAR levels, etc.
Job Criteria - Major Job Functions
Works with clinical staff to assure all automated ordering capabilities are functioning as designed. Recommends changes as needed.
Works with physicians, staff and vendors to introduce new products in the most efficient and effective manner. Assures no product is used in heart center that has not followed appropriate approval route.
Responsible for orientation and training of all staff and physicians on Wavemark and supply chain processes.
Maintains mission critical supplies for all cardiovascular areas. Checks all backorders daily and assesses the clinical impact of any backorder.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 2 years’ experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably in a healthcare setting. Relevant experience is highly valued.
