$34.90 - $52.35Pediatric Dialysis Unit: The PDU is open from 0630-1700 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 0630-1400 Tuesday and Thursday. We have a nurse on call during the hours we are closed to support the needs of our patients. Currently our call requirements are 3-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekend shifts every 6 weeks but this fluctuates with staffing. We care for both inpatients and outpatients and provide 5 different modalities: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis, red blood cell exchange, and stem cell collection. We are a small team and work very closely with our nephrologists, nurse practitioner, social worker, dietician, teacher, and each other (we are an RN team of 10 with one hemodialysis technician). We take a true interdisciplinary approach to patient care and have great teamwork.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
