Aurora Medical Center-Oshkosh is recruiting a SPD Tech for a .9FTE/36 hours per week. The position will be scheduled Monday-Friday 1100-1900. Position will work every 6th weekend/call. When working the weekends, Friday hours are 11-1900/with call starting at 1900. Saturday and Sunday hours are 0730-1130 with call to begin at 1130. Position will also have 1 holiday each year (rotation), work on the holiday would be 0730-1130 with call to begin at 1130.
Previous Sterile Processing experience or healthcare experience is preferred.
Pay Range
$20.40 - $30.60What is a Sterile Processing Tech (SPD Tech)?
SPD Techs have a critical role in preventing infection with tasks such as sterilizing, cleaning, processing, assembling, storing, and distributing medical supplies. This role will also handle soiled and contaminated items, so you need to be comfortable with handling. This is a very tactical position that requires strong attention to detail and will work behind the scenes. This position does not interact with patients. Previous SPD or healthcare experience is preferred. SPD Certification for this position is not required.
