Circulating nurse for Urology specialty.

Full time 36 hours per week Monday through Friday (9 hour shifts).

Variable start times 7-9am.

On call rotation one weekend a month 6am-6:30pm & 1-2 holidays a year 6am to 6:30pm. No overnight call.

Pay Range

$37.50 - $56.25

Monday - Friday. 8hr day shift position.

Where You Will Work:

The Urology department handles outpatient, same day surgery and inpatient urology cases.

We have a group of urologist that we work with on a regular bases. 

services include

  • kidney stone cases

  • resections of bladder tumors

  • prostates

  • stent placements

  • cystoscopies,

  • retrogrades,

  • as well as consults, for foley and suprapubic tube changes.

Both local and anesthesia cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • One year experience - preference for med/surg experience, and or surgical

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly. Verifies patient identity, allergies, and surgical site
  • Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.
  • Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.
  • Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.
  • Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities.
  • Patient Care - positioning of patient, maintains sterile and safe environment, prepares the OR with necessary supplies, time outs, checks for inventory, and documents all aspects of the procedure
