  • Coordinate closely with IT delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation validation

  • Support daily operations by investigating system issues, identifying root causes, and driving timely resolution of defects impacting billing, settlements, or customer experience

  • Drive change management activities related to billing system updates, including documentation, stakeholder communication, and operational readiness

  • Establish and apply consistent frameworks for process improvement, automation opportunities, and continuous optimization

  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

  • At least 10+ years of experience in retail energy operations, with deep exposure to billing systems, system integrations, conversions, and operational process design

  • Expert-level knowledge of the Excelergy Revenue Manager billing platform, including configuration, billing logic, and operational dependencies

  • Strong understanding of retail energy market structures and settlement processes across CAISO, ERCOT, ISONE, PJM, MISO, and NYISO

  • Working knowledge of regulatory, legislative, and utility requirements in competitive retail markets and their operational impacts

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into system and process solutions in partnership with Technology teams

  • Experience supporting product launches or pricing changes, ensuring operational and billing readiness

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system and process issues and recommend practical solutions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, including urgent operational issues

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document requirements and communicate impacts to diverse stakeholders

  • High attention to detail and strong discipline, particularly in environments where accuracy and timeliness are critical
