Develop and manages project plans, budgets, and timelines, conducting client meetings and site inspections with supporting documentation
Gather data for design and alterations, creating CAD drawings for office layouts, furniture, and reconfigurations
Oversee project tasks, resources, schedules, and budgets, supporting interior renovations, furniture installations, and customized FF&E solutions
Manage office furniture design, installation, inventory, warehousing, and disposal, ensuring timely, budget-compliant completion of facility projects
Assist with architectural and design coordination, including procurement of architects/engineers, approvals, and ensuring alignment with client and project goals
Define project scope, objectives, and budgets while monitoring expenditures to ensure compliance with approved limits and timelines
Lead bid solicitation, proposal reviews, and ensures project goals are met through effective vendor management
Track project progress, prepares updates, manages contractor payments, and oversees claims throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct building audits and space validation, updating AutoCAD and Archibus floor plans to reflect changes in layouts and room configurations
Support Facilities Master Planning by researching space needs, coordinating with County divisions and consultants, integrating assessments into strategic reports, and preparing presentations for management and the BCC
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Interior Design, Architecture, Facilities, or related fields AND two (2) years of job-related experience
-OR- Six (6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education
A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification/ Accreditations in CIDQ, Florida Registered Interior Designer, and/ or LEED-accredited professional
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiar with Adobe Pro, Smartsheet, Archibus (CAFM), Bluebeam, Google SketchUp, Revit, and/or eBuilder software
Formal training and experience with Project Management Institute and Project Management tools
Strong background in commercial interior design with extensive commercial furniture knowledge, furniture specs, and finish selections
Strong understanding of architectural design, ADA, and Florida Building Codes.
Experienced in space planning, restack, space analyses, move management, employee location data, test fits/block plans, etc.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.
Starting Pay Range: $56,139.20 - $62,000.00/annually, based on your experience
