About the Role

The Manager of Operations for Gap Brand Partnerships and Collaborations is responsible for leading end-to-end program management for Gap’s global brand collaborations, including designer partnerships, licensed initiatives, and Gap Studio projects. This role ensures timely product delivery by aligning cross-functional teams, managing critical timelines, and coordinating key milestones across product development, sourcing, marketing, and market channels. Acting as a strategic advisor to partnership leadership, the manager drives operational excellence, facilitates core team collaboration, and continuously improves processes to optimize workflow and execution. The ideal candidate brings product development or sourcing experience, excels in organizational and interpersonal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment

What You'll Do

  • Drive holistic program management for Gap’s pipeline of Global Brand partnerships (designer collaborations, high heat licensing, international).  Set up end to end process for each partnership and manage cross-functional partners to meet deliverables and resolve open ended issues in order to bring product to market on time.

  • Develop partnership T&As, vet calendars with Global CFTs and Sourcing partners to align on timing and deliverable dates

  • Manage overall flow calendar for Brand collaborations, navigate and negotiate optimal launch dates for all markets with CFTs and with partner considerations in mind

  • Serve as thought partner and advisor to Partnerships leadership team

  • Facilitate core team meetings to drive work forward and ensure teams on task

  • Partner closely with Design to ensure all Global collaborations are fully resourced and on-track to milestones & deadlines.  Ensure local International Collaborations and/or Collaborations coming from Japan or Franchise for Global execution are considered in resource planning & allocation.

  • Provide critical linkage point between product and Global marketing teams to connect upstream product development with go to market execution

    • Specifically partner with the Head of Marketing, Stores, & E-Comm across Japan & Franchise to coordinate & ensure flawless execution for this market

  • Coordinate with wholesale, franchise and international teams to ensure seamless integration and consideration of market & channel needs with the collaboration partners, inclusive of systems integrations and set up

  • Drive continuous process improvement to ensure operational efficiencies and effectiveness for working teams

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of Product Development or Sourcing experience – understands critical product to market development cycles, timelines, and dependencies to create, develop and deliver product to customer, inclusive of end to end marketing and customer experience deliverables

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to drive operational rigor

  • Proven track record in leading others to execute on an aligned business strategy driving results for Brand

  • Thrives in agile environment with a strong ability to manage and navigate competing priorities

  • Superior interpersonal skills - works well as part of a cross-functional team and able to influence and interact at all levels of the organization including interfacing regularly with senior/executive leadership team

  • Personal Leadership - demonstrated executive presence, presentation, influencing, and collaboration across a leadership team

  • Change Leadership - experience leading with and without authority to influence others and drive decision making and to achieve desired service levels
