Robeco is a leading international asset manager with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and digital resilience. Within the COO domain, our Digital Policy, Control & Resilience (DPC&R) department plays a key role in safeguarding information security, business continuity, and cyber resilience. The team is responsible for security monitoring, testing, identity & access management, cybersecurity analytics, and policy development. The department is led by Robeco’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Position & Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen our cyber resilience. In this role, you act as an expert on external cyber threats and think like an ‘outsider’. You translate threats into tangible business risks and provide timely and relevant insights on cyber threats and trends to security experts and senior management. The Cyber Security Analyst reports directly to the CISO.

In more detail, your key responsibilities comprise:

  • Conduct cyber threat analysis and risk assessments
  • Manage, improve, and monitor Robeco’s Threat Intelligence capabilities
  • Prepare intelligence reports for senior management
  • Translate cyber threats into Robeco-specific business risks
  • Coordinate root-cause analysis of severe security incidents
  • Perform in-depth analysis of attack methods and trends
  • Anticipate market and industry developments in cybersecurity
  • Select, direct, and manage Managed Security Services (MSS)
  • Continuous improvement of Robeco’s cyber security processes
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with external threat analysts
  • Actively participate in Robeco’s international Cyber Security Circle

What you bring

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in information security, computer science, information technology or related field
  • Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISA are a pre
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security analytics and intelligence, preferably in the financial sector.
  • You are experienced with SIEM, big data, and multi-sourced IT environments
  • Knowledge on the complete Microsoft Security Stack including Microsoft Defender and Sentinel as well as Azure is a requirement.
  • Technical skills like KQL (Kusto query language), PowerShell, Python, Azure and Azure Sentinel are preferred.

You have proven experience in preparing and presenting security risk reports to senior management, combined with strong stakeholder management skills. Furthermore, you are pragmatic and able to work with different types of management styles. You are a critical and creative thinker and motivated to seek solutions for complex issues. Your spoken and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are excellent.
