Full Time=3 (12hrs shifts) weekly/every 3rd weekend
Will alternate every 6 weeks for first year on Days: 7a-7p, and Nights: 7p-7a
Pay Range
$34.90 - $52.35Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – 11 Beds:
Our Pediatric ICU provides evidence-based, family-centered care for critically ill children ages birth to 18 years with very high acuity and complex needs. We specialize in advanced therapies, including ECMO and CRRT, to support patients with life-threatening conditions.

The Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high- quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
Major Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Less than 6 months of RN experience.
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Certification / Registration / License
Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
Note: Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing/virtual modalities are required to be licensed or hold the privilege to practice in the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located. Licensed nurses are responsible and accountable for knowing, understanding, and practicing in compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice of the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located.
