JOB SUMMARY: The Texas Rangers are seeking a local, part-time ESL English and Cultural Teacher to work with international players and domestic players/staff at our High-A affiliate, the Hub City Spartanburgers. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Utilize the Texas Rangers' baseball and life skills centered English-language curriculum to teach the minor league international players.
• Provide English language and life skills instruction part time during the team’s homestands for the 2026 regular season April-September. 
• Assess student progress and submit progress evaluations each homestand. 
• Assist international players in learning English and American culture and acclimating to life in the affiliate city/community.
• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Previous ESL or Spanish classroom teaching experience 
• ESL endorsement or certification preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Significant understanding or working knowledge of baseball
• Computer skills
• Able to work flexible hours
• Self-starter
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to work in outdoor/baseball stadium environment
