Job Title: Events Coordinator
FLSA: Exempt
General Function
The Events Coordinator assists in planning and organizing events on behalf of the Hy-Vee corporate office. In addition, they focus on all internal service, department and award events, assuring the highest quality of programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College preferred; Two to three years related experience and/or hospitality management or public relations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions
The duties of this position are performed primarily in a general office setting, with frequent work at other venues. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.
Contacts
Has daily contact with store and office personnel, suppliers/vendor/venues and the general public
Confidentiality
Has access to confidential programs, including employee records, and other various company information
