Position Summary
FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar possesses a timeless atmosphere with a modern edge who is looking for an energetic and detail oriented Room Service Server.
FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar features regional, local and sustainable foods kissed with the flavor of real burning wood, utilizing the grill, rotisserie and smoker. Impeccable hospitality and service. 175 seat restaurant, 125 seat lounge. Our lounge features local brews, selective wine list and modern cocktail program.
Hourly Wage: $11.41

Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, timely service to create an exceptional in room dining experience by:
Prepare room service food trays and carts; ensure proper appearance standards and cleanliness
Ensure timeliness of delivering Room Service trays to guest rooms
Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all food and beverage amenities
Deliver all food and beverage amenities to guest rooms
Maintain daily opening and closing checklist and inspections
Complete opening, ongoing and closing side work as assigned
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction and known food allergies
Remove room service trays from guest rooms, hallways, and service landings
Engage in friendly and professional conversation with guests
Addresses any guest issues promptly and with great concern
Maintain knowledge of all hotel in-house groups as well as any special events
Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
Present check to guest and make change (if applicable)
Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers/food runners/wait assistants as situations arise
Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables in the restaurant/lounge
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
Abide by legal standards and TIPS alcohol training guidelines for alcohol service to guests.
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems
Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest
Requirement/Skills
Ability to obtain and hold Bartender’s License
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent customer service skills
Skilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to deliver training material in group and one-on-one settings
Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels
Highly organized - demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time

The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times.
