Our Neurosciences Unit is part of our Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence and is looking for inpatient Registered Nurses to join our team!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• D5A and NIU Neurosciences are a 37-bed neuro-acute and 9 bed neuro-intercare department within a 4-time Magnet designated organization.
• We provide comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, brain injury, brain tumors, spinal injury, and spine tumors.
• Work with dedicated professionals committed to patient centered excellence. Act as an advocate for patients, families, and significant others. Come join a team dedicated to the culture of safety, shared governance, and nursing autonomy.
• Team- oriented environment. This unit operates as a true team and there is always somebody to assist you when necessary!
• The Neurosciences Department is composed of a collaborative team of dedicated professionals geared towards achieving excellence in patient-centered care.

SCHEDULE:

• Nights 7 PM - 7 AM
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Pay:

• New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure) $41.00
• Experienced RN (1+ years of RN Licensure) $42.66-$65.00

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Education: AND required; BSN preferred.

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
