Harris Williams seeks to hire a Vice President to join our Primary Fund Placement team in our San Francisco office. This individual will play a critical role in building new and strengthening existing client relationships with a focus on West Coast and Australian based LPs. This role requires experience in the Australian market.

What We Look For

Harris Williams seeks to hire a Vice President to join our Primary Fund Placement team, based in San Francisco. The desired qualifications of a Vice President are: 

  • Prior Financial Services Experience – 5+ years of experience in financial services with relevant experience in capital placement, pipeline development and fund launches.

  • Project Management & Analysis – experience leading and managing the capital placement process end to end; providing analysis and consultation to clients to guide the process to a successful conclusion.

  • Relationship development – proven experience identifying leads and cultivating relationships that create potential business and revenue opportunities.

  • Problem Solving and Presentation Skills – identify trends in data and articulate the impact of those patterns to various internal and external stakeholders; apply judgement to prioritize time and manage through real or perceived roadblocks throughout the deal process

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services

  • Significant travel – in person client meeting and working sessions required

  • FINRA licensing: SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 must be acquired within 90 days of hire

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $225,000.00 – $225,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
