$20.80 - $31.20Join our dedicated Sterile Processing team and make a direct impact on patient safety and surgical excellence. As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll be responsible for the critical work of cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards ensures our clinical teams have what they need to provide exceptional care every day.
Promote a cooperative and professional work environment through effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
Clean, decontaminate, and process instruments and equipment using proper techniques and equipment.
Inspect reusable items to ensure functionality, safety, and readiness for sterilization.
Sort, assemble, and prepare instruments and instrument sets.
Operate sterilization units to produce sterile products that minimize the risk of hospital-acquired infections.
Ensure availability of sterilization supplies, prep solutions, and necessary equipment.
Perform daily checks of autoclaves and Steris Units, including biological indicators and air removal tests, while accurately maintaining logs, records, and charts.
Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge and skills related to sterile processing practices.
Provide age/developmentally appropriate care in alignment with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the populations served.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required.
Ability to operate sterilization equipment including washer sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, flash autoclaves, and high-vacuum autoclaves.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with medical professionals.
Knowledge of basic and specialty operating room instrumentation.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
