This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $22.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
The Material Handler works in our Scotts manufacturing facilities. The person in the Material Handler position is responsible for ensuring organic or chemical materials flow through the shakers and mixers. They may perform housekeeping to insure that material does not accumulate, remove scrap material, and re-stack inventory. They will maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

What you’ll need to be successful:
Preferred education level is a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have at least one year experience operating a forklift.
Must be able to do basic math functions such as adding, subtracting and dividing.
Must be able to read orders for picking and staging of products.
Must be able to complete the pre-shift inspection forms. Must be able to pass the Scotts forklift exams and obtain and maintain a valid operator's license
