The position pays $17 an hour.
About the Internship:
U-Haul is seeking a Database Administrator Intern for Microsoft SQL Server to join the Database Platform Operations team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. The position is hybrid, remote work but requires in-office meetings at U-Haul Midtown Campus in Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity
Monitor system alerts
Assist and support Microsoft Windows Servers
Work with Microsoft SQL Server
Participate in technical reviews throughout the course of development projects
Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
Maintain detailed technical documentation
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program applicable toation Technology, CIS, or Computer Science Inform
DBMS related college courses preferred
Basic understanding of personal computer hardware and software programs
Candidates must be able to learn new things quickly, need minimal direction, and work in a remote environment
