M-F 8-5, 40 hours per week, Hybrid position. Potentially float 1-2 days a week in the Charlotte area
Do you have an interest in being part of a fast-paced pharmacy team to serve patients by helping them receive and apply for needed medications and also work closely with pharmacists to ensure pharmacy visits are scheduled and patients receive their medications timely?
If you are interested in working in fast-paced, patient focused, and team-based environment and have experience in patient outreach phone calls, charting follow up, and as a retail pharmacy technician, then this may be the perfect job for you!
This position will include helping heart failure patients obtain prescription medications at costs they can afford and assist with scheduling of patients for the pharmacy team. Other pharmacy technician activities will also be expected. You will be working closely alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and clinic practices to successfully assist the patient in obtain required prescription medications. This position requires frequent phone calls and reliable and private home internet.

Typically requires 3 years of experience in health care, insurance industry, pharmacy, or medical background. Prior Experience with helping low income patients gain access to prescription medications, involvement in manufacturer assistance programs, or general experience in pharmacy retail assisting filling of prescriptions.

Experience with helping low income patients gain access to prescription medications, involvement in manufacturer assistance programs, or even general experience in pharmacy retail assisting filling of prescriptions. Excellent customer service, communications skills (written and verbal), experience in Epic and excel, and happy, flexible, attitude to help patients and pharmacists serve patients to the best of their abilities is desired in this role.
