At Vantor, you’ll work with the U.S. Space Force as part of the effort to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle.  Within this role, you will lead the planning, integration, and execution of system-level test and verification activities across development, integration, and transition to operations. You will ensure that the United States Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS) ground segment meet performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and operational readiness requirements prior to operational acceptance and sustainment.  Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

  • 6+ years of experience supporting large-scale national security space missions in systems engineering, integration, or test

  • 5+ years of experience leading or supporting system-level test programs for DoD space or ground software systems

  • Experience developing and executing integrated test strategies across developmental test (DT), integration test, system test, and operational test (OT)

  • Experience with verification and validation (V&V), requirements traceability, test readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and sustainment

  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs and milestone reviews

  • Knowledge of systems engineering life-cycle processes, including requirements development, integration, verification, validation, and configuration management

  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide senior leadership with objective readiness assessments and risk insights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s degree in a STEM-related field

  • Experience leading agile software programs or test campaigns for agile software programs

  • Experience supporting ground segment integration tests

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

  • Experience with test automation, modeling and simulation, or digital engineering environments

Clearance: Secret

The position will require at least 2-3x per week on site.  Meetings/schedules may require more days on site.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington:

$81,000.00 - $173,000.00 annually.
