Job Description:

Respiratory Therapy Student Tech- PRN, Days

Status: PRN

Shift: First

**Every third weekend (Friday & Saturday) required**

** Three shifts per 6-week schedule **

Job Summary:       

The respiratory care technician assesses, treats and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes the delivery of medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by a provider. The respiratory care technician assists in departmental operations by assisting with supplies and equipment management.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

Must be actively enrolled in an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.

Must hold an active student “Limited Certificate” from the Kentucky Board for Respiratory Care. Must provide continuous proof of progression through the program via checklist. 

BCLS Required within 90 days of hire.
