About the Role:

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst II provides intermediate-level financial support and analysis within a healthcare finance environment. This roles works with moderate supervision and partners with departments across the organization to deliver insights that enhance operational and strategic decision-making. This position develops financial models, analyzes trends, and prepares financial reports that assist leadership. In addition, this role helps ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems, contributes to process improvement efforts, and collaborates closely with peers across the finance division to align with organization goals and priorities in support of high-quality patient care and financial stewardship.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Licensure or other certifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • Minimum Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in finance and/or decision support

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and reconcile financial data from various sources

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting required by management

  • Perform basic financial modeling under supervision

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records

  • Support audits and compliance with organizational policies and procedures

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned

  • Develop foundational knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools, with the goal of building increase independence over time

  • Appropriately escalates issues and/or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner

  • Performs additional duties as assigned
