$19.47 - $25.77The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
The Physician Support Specialist provides support to the Heart Failure Department. Responsible for using independent judgement and initiative, performs routine and non-routine clerical duties and supports of onsite and regional activities of a team of physicians, APP's and RN's. Performs functions associated with patient information processing for ambulatory care visits. Completes the task of appointment scheduling, eRecord task management, In Basket management and Telephone Encounter management using the electronic medical record and patient access. Responsible for functions being completed in an accurate, efficient, and customer friendly manner. Requires working knowledge of privacy and other policies and procedures in daily contact with confidential information and material in accordance of HIPPA regulations. Candidate must be able to work independently and in specialized natural with excellent organizational skills required.SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION RECEIVED:
