Summary:
The Claims Administrative Assistant provides general support to Claims team, reviews claim forms and documents for accuracy and completion, obtains missing information as necessary.
Essential Duties and Functions include the following. Other duties as may be assigned.
Supports the Lender Placed Claims team by performing administrative duties.
Follows up with adjusting companies for overdue claims reports.
Provides general claims status updates by phone.
Adds necessary claims documents to the electronic claims file.
Prepares claim check payments.

Required:
High School Diploma/GED
Proficient with MS Office
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with insurance claims
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day. Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day. Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor. Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
