Job Description

As our Operations Associate, Third Party Liability, you help support identification and resolution of open healthcare claims for patients with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) coverage. Every day you will review open claims and research using patient accounting systems. To thrive in this role, you should be motivated to meet production quotas and have strong attention to detail. Prior experience in healthcare administration or revenue cycle management is useful but is not required.

Here’s what you will experience working as an Operations Associate, Third Party Liability:

  • Research patient MVA coverage via hospital software platforms

  • Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally and with management to respond to client and stakeholder inquiries and escalate any issues

  • Utilize R1 and client software platforms (i.e., Epic, Cerner) to sort and filter daily work, validate claim information, and manage account information and workflow

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent AND either work experience or post-secondary education in medical billing, health information, or third party liability

  • Comfortable being on the phone (as needed) and performing repetitive data review

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $17.80 - $28.52 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
