Position Overview
The Managing Director will lead the continued buildout of Apollo’s strategic private equity and opportunistic co-investment business, partnering with deal teams to execute and syndicate equity co-underwrites and co-investments while developing creative structuring and fundraising solutions. The individual will serve as the day-to-day lead on co-invest execution and investor engagement, working closely with CPS to expand relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pensions, family offices, and other equity capital sources, while also driving alternative exit strategies, providing market insights on private capital trends, and maintaining targeted investor CRM. A dedicated senior leader for the equity co-investment platform will materially strengthen Apollo’s ability to optimize execution of opportunistic equity deals, deepen strategic relationships with our largest global investors, provide greater leverage for deal teams, refine strategy, and address broader distribution objectives in close partnership with the co-heads of Capital Markets and Syndication. With the equity co-invest business already generating ~$100M in annual revenues and significant growth potential, this role will institutionalize execution, expand investor coverage, and implement alternative exit solutions, positioning Apollo to pursue larger deals and capture greater scale and share of wallet from key partners.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location.
