Join DIRECTV’s Advertising Sales team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-evolving world of ad tech. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that directly impact on how we deliver and monetize content across platforms.

Depending on your interests and background, you’ll be placed in one of the following focus areas:

Advertising Technology

• Work on a scrum team and be given user stories to work on
• Tackle data use cases with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning; and utilize Looker (BI tool) to display results

Campaign Analytics

• Engage in the post campaign report process including use of syndicated tools and report creation
• Manage and update the internal post campaign report tracker and dashboard
• Create a final mock tracker utilizing PowerQuery and write analysis of findings
• Create a mock post campaign report and present the findings

Who We’re Looking For

• Students pursuing degrees in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Science
• Familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, Unix, AWS, Snowflake, APIs, and relational databases
• Interest in TV, digital advertising, and media technology
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in team settings

Program Details

• Duration: 10-week hybrid internship (in office 2 days per week)
• Start Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026, or June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026
• Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
• This position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status)
