Summary

This position will report to the Manager of SCM for High Performance Materials and be instrumental in driving our digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, visualization tools, and business intelligence, particularly using Power BI. You will be responsible for leading and supporting projects that enhance our operational efficiencies and decision-making capabilities across various business units.
  • Lead and support digital transformation projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain advanced data analytics systems using Power BI, Power Query, and other relevant tools.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the integration of technological solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members on the use of data visualization tools and data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in technology, applying this knowledge to benefit the company.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics activities.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field and typically 6 – 9 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, with at least 2 years of AI experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and other data visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Experience in machine learning, predictive or descriptive analytics preferred.
