Job Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training & Licensure:    Must have 2 years college and/or credential in health field, BS degree preferred.  Must be able to travel for training for vascular/cardiac ultrasound and show clinical competency by performing ultrasounds independently.  Workers supervised:  Supervises in absence of the clinical manager of non-invasive lab.   

Knowledge, Experience & Special Skills: Minimum of two years experience in a hospital, doctor's office or clinic preferred.  Must be able to work/communicate effectively with others.  Must establish/maintain good relations with hospital staff, patients, their families, visitors and the public.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS STRENGTH FACTOR: -M - Medium Work- Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.   

JOB SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for performing both vascular and cardiac ultrasound studies with minimal supervision.  Performs all ultrasound technologist and non-invasive technician responsibilities and duties without supervision.  Supervision:  If assigned as supervisor, supervises non-invasive personnel.  All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
