The Rad Tech position is located in Southern Indiana at one of our Urgent Care locations on Charlestown Rd. You will assist the staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems. Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment.
Duties include:
- Performs all radiographic exams as required.
- Maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
- Assists physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures as designated.
- Accurately obtains and records vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate.
- Performs clerical duties as assigned including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:
- Basic Medical Assistant experience or training
- Rad Tech license
- BLS certification required.
- Medical assistant experience or training preferred.
- Active AART and KBMIRT
RT/MA, grandfathered LMR Indiana, x-ray tech
