Cardiac Cath Lab Tech- Procedure Area

Four 10-hour shifts per week, 0700-1730

On-Call rotation is MANDATORY on weeknights, weekends, and holidays evenly split between all staff. On call hours are 1730-0700 weeknights and 0700-0700 on weekends and holidays.

Under the direction of a physician, coordinates x-ray exposure of patients. Assists with patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to cardiac, peripheral, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures performed.

Job Duties

• Follows the prescribed techniques in administering fluoroscopy and Cineradiography.
• Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots equipment.
• Functions as a productive member of the patient care team.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude toward and willingness to facilitate team building
• Assists physicians with procedures.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must have ARRT & KBMIRT licenses for Radiology Tech

Preferred Requirements

• Preferred experience in Cardiovascular procedures
