Ultrasound Tech

36 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift (coverage for clinical schedule in the Ultrasound department. 11.5 hours per shift typically scheduled Mon, Tues and Wednesday. Could be ask to cover other shifts as needed. Expected to rotate weekend and holiday on call hours.)

Job Summary:

Performs all Ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist or ordering physician.  Gathers histories and prepares needed information to complete the patient’s record. 

Requirements:

Registered as R.D.M.S. or RT (S) required. 

Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain registry within one year of employment. 3.  Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
