Job Description:
Seeking Bariatric Program Coordinator!
Part-Time (48 hours biweekly), days shift, days vary
Baptist Health Floyd, Quality Resources
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
Leads the development of and manages day-to-day operations of the bariatric program. Manages the accreditation process and ensures continuous compliance with the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). Collaborates with program physicians, practice management personnel, and hospital leaders and educators to effectively implement program objectives. Leads the development of written protocols and process improvement efforts based on clinical outcomes data and evidence-based practice. Assures a high level of patient and customer satisfaction within the bariatric center. Participates in strategic planning, patient outreach, and marketing activities to support and grow the program. Supports research activities within the program.
