Job Title: Inpatient Therapist – Behavioral Health
40 hours weekly
5 days a week
8 hour days
available weekends/holidays
Job Description:
- Provides clinical services including psychosocial assessment, individual, family, and group therapies that meet the established standards of care and standards of practice.
- Develops patient treatment plans with patient/family participation and reassess treatment plans appropriately.
- If assigned to Outpatient Behavioral Health and independently privileged, may provide for initial patient assessment.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and assists in the interpretation of performance improvement data.
- If qualified, may provide clinical supervision.
- Expected to participate in consultation, set professional boundaries, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to ethical conduct.
Therapist will see all ages via telehealth and in-person visits.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work with a current KY License as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or current KY License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required. For the CSW, supervision hours must be completed within 3 years of hire, and licensure must be obtained within 8 months of completing the supervision hours.
- Master’s degree in counseling with associated licensure (LPCA, LPCC) may be considered in place of the social work degree/licensure.
- Professionals must good standing with Kentucky Boards of Social Work and Professional Counseling.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred. Preferably, has experience completing psychiatric and/or substance abuse-disorder consultations within this population.
- Knowledge of the various levels of care and community resources.
- The ability to understand the clinicals provided for inpatient psychiatric and medical detox precertification’s with Medicaid MCOs and private insurances.
