Summary

This position reports to the Director and will manage remodel and repair projects of hospital buildings. Coordinate with contractors and vendors involved in those projects. Prepares drawings, schedules, and files related to such projects. Maintain high standards, compliance and documentation within the department. Translate policies and procedures into daily operations in accordance with CMS, and other regulatory agencies. Oversees and promotes operational efficiencies utilizing engineering management principles. Coordinates quality and performance improvement programs including staff development.

Job Description:

The Manager of Facility Engineering reports to the Director and will manage remodel and repair projects of hospital buildings. Coordinate with contractors and vendors involved in those projects. Prepares drawings, schedules, and files related to such projects. Maintain high standards, compliance and documentation within the department. Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree required
• Valid Driver's license w/ good driving history
• CHFM (certified Healthcare Facility manager) certification w/in three years
• Knowledge of NFPA codes, CMS conditions, accreditation standards, building codes
• Knowledge of building maintenance, equipment, plumbing, HVAC
• Management experience preferred
• Healthcare facility experience preferred
