Summer Partnership Integrated Clinical Experience & Education "SPICEE"

Beginning date of program: May 18, 2026

Program Details:

• The SPICEE program is available for any senior level nursing students from any accredited nursing school.
• It is a collaborative venture between Baptist Health Lexington and Eastern Kentucky University.  
• Our goal is to provide a quality learning experience for you, as students and as prospective nursing professionals, to enhance your knowledge, skills, and experience in the hospital setting.  
• Paid 10-week program and paid cost of in-state tuition

Program Requirements:

• Senior level student from an accredited nursing school
• Current CPR or BLS Certification
• Current school Transcript
• 2 Faculty Reference Forms
• Complete and meet conditions and requirements for BHLex Employment
