40 Hours Weekly (10 hr shifts per day; minimal weekend rotation)

Job Summary:
The sterile processing tech is responsible for ensuring that all surgical instrumentation is properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in an accurate and timely manner throughout the hospital.  The sterile processing tech works independently with little supervision.  Serves as a resource to Sterile Processing customers.

Requirements

HSPA/IAHCSMM certification required within 18 months of hire
