Purpose:

The Employee Relations Partners supports core Human Resources processes by managing employee leave of absence requests, preparing separation packets, and responding to general Human Resources inquiries. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely communication, and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. The Employee Relations Partner contributes to a positive employee experience through responsive service, attention to detail, and consistent application of Human Resources procedures.

Accountabilities:

  • Serves as a first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries, providing accurate information and escalating as appropriate.
  • Manages the administration of leave of absence programs, including preparing leave packets, tracking leave status, maintaining documentation, and communicating updates to employees and leaders.
  • Coordinates employee off-boarding processes by preparing separation packets, ensuring timely system updates, and conducting exit processes.
  • Maintains employee records in accordance with company policy and compliance standards.
  • Assists with HR file audits and documentation retention to ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Supports HR communications by providing employees with information about policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Contributes to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and employee experience within the HR team.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1+ years of Human Resources or administrative experience, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and Human Resources practices (e.g., FMLA, ADA, confidentiality).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
