In this role you will:
- Review job documents including A-Drawings, E-Drawings, RCP’s, and Fixture Schedules to identify scope of job and the materials that require quoting.
- Identify strategic opportunities for CX.
- Save all project files in appropriate CX Lighting & Controls folder.
- Set the job up in Job Management & Parspec
- Assign quoter and communicate assignment to customer.
- Maintain an orderly and organized inbox using available Outlook filing and categorization tools.
- Responsible for keeping inbox volume at an acceptable level (no quote requests older than 1 week, all duplicate requests entered by EOD,etc.), and effectively delegate job set up as needed to maintain these levels.
- Maintain Quick Quotes (typically generic, white goods) inbox and handle incoming requests, identifying appropriate product, requesting pricing, margining appropriately, and returning quotes to customers including spec sheets and lead times.
- Targeted national account quoting.
- Proactively Identifies and addresses potential issues or discrepancies (Ex: differences in counts between the contractors or expired pricing from previous budgets)
- Maintains internal databases such as Lighting Vendor List and Eclipse Sales Rep assignments
- Train new associates in Projects as they enter the organization as the entry point into Lighting & Gear for Connexion
- Recommend process changes in the best interest of the customer or Connexion
- Proactively works with their manager and team to take steps for self-development

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, in office training followed by a hybrid schedule of two days in office
Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on experience.
