Overview:

  • Gives technical and operational support to various teams.
  • Repairs, performs regular preventive maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment; keeps equipment clean and functional; and keeps work area clean.
  • Serves as a resource for operation and related maintenance of various products, technology systems, and other related equipment sets.
  • Records and maintains a documented history of equipment failures, repairs, and modifications that have been made.

Work Shift and Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible - 20 - 30 hours per week, depending on business needs.

Compensation Details:

  • The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $34.00 per hour depending on experience.


Typical Functions:

  • Provides feedback to internal stakeholders and suppliers to enable of coordination of equipment repairs, improvements, installations, and supplies ordering.
  • Cleans and maintains lab space, cleans, and prepares support equipment, performs measurements, and records data and other information to be passed down.
  • Resolves complex technical issues using a wide variety of technical skills, including running processes and experiments.
  • Tracks completed product and equipment builds and material waste as a result of failed builds.
  • Maintains machine build schedule, prioritizes test prints, and provides predicted completion date of projects.
  • Executes work following standard procedures or experimental work instructions.
  • Performs tasks accurately, documents and tracks work, and organizes and maintains inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Keeps current on technology through research and by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Promotes safe practices for using equipment.
  • Escalates any issues to Supervisor for resolution.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
