As a Lead Project Specialist you will serve as a key member of branch project management team and expert user of SAP to ensure customer satisfaction, taking a proactive approach to servicing the Company's customers on project orders.

In this role you will:

• Perform order entry of job orders, particularly the larger, more difficult projects, including order acknowledgements to customers.

• Coordinate fixture packages and gear releases, including expediting of drawings and approvals, updating shipping schedules to customers, expediting deliveries with suppliers, and coordinating warehouse deliveries to ensure on time performance.

• Execute accurate job lot billing to customers utilizing software, and process supplier invoices on projects for payment.

• Produce various reports for customers and suppliers from project software throughout project period.

• Provide training and guidance to less experienced Project Specialists as needed

What you bring to the table:

• 3 years’ experience

• High school diploma or GED

• 5+ years’ experience:  some customer service and electrical industry experience preferred

• Four-year degree preferred

• Knowledge of the Company's products and services

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Strong knowledge of SAP

• Oral and written communication skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally

• Ability to be detail oriented

• Ability to influence without authority

• Ability to mentor and train peers 

Shift and hours: Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.

Compensation details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $36.86 per hour, depending on experience.
